What's your MPG? I've read that these things get crazy MPG numbers.

Average over 2 years was 38 I think, lately it's been 40+ with a personal best last fall of 45.
With 258,000 miles and CEL on, so if new motor I could likely pull in 50-60 with some aero mods, which I'll do if I get it to pass inspection. ( renewal is due)

I cannot tell a lie. I wanted one of these for quite sometime. They look like so much fun and I had a friend who zipped around everywhere in her 5 speed Metro. Also I always thought it'd be a cheap enough car to fix and restore. Then just as cheap to keep running whilst I toured the country side. If these things are true!
